Bollywood Dance School

Diwakar Performing Arts Group was established in 1995 in the USA to teach and provide authentic Bollywood Indian dance to students ages 6 to 65 years. Our mission is to teach proper technique, style and form of dance encompassing new elements with the change of time and instill life-long core values that can be applied beyond the dance studio. We always teach our students various different forms through proper technique. We not only teach dance but also valuable core characteristics such as respect, self-discipline along with high encouragement so each student may value dance as fun and a form of self-discipline. As time moves forward our school moves forward with the times too. Teaching the new styles of dance along with the well established ones is woven into our school program. Along with dance instruction, we also nurture high encouragement for their performance as well as competitions.

Our school’s first priority is to discover and inspire their creative dance talent and build their confidence as well as a strong foundation for their dance education. We are not a commercialized business or only in the business to make money!

Many of the students have been with us since the beginning and plan to stay for each upcoming year viewing it as a new challenge to discover and add to their dance education. Their enthusiasm is contagious and spreads in our classes and beyond especially through their performances. People can’t help but want to see what DPA is all about!

We only keep a minimum number of students per class and always concentrate toward each individual student to provide them with strong dance skills and the possibility to expand their learning capability. We look forward to seeing the best in them. We offer a very reasonable tuition but the dance education they receive in return is invaluable.
